First, the Twelfth Doctor shows up to Comic Con in a story printed exclusively for the show. These kinds of things are rare (since the odds are the publisher is taking a financial hit for them) but not entirely unprecedented, as DC did a similar story featuring Harley Quinn last year.
Both Doctor Who: The Twelfth Doctor #11 and Doctor Who: The Eleventh Doctor #14 also have covers exclusive to the show, with the latter being the first in a two-part story leading to the “season finale” for the series.
The publisher will also release a pair of exclusive collectibles for the show: two figurines, both based on David Tennant’s Tenth Doctor.
In one of the toys, the Doctor is decked out in a tux, while in the other he is wearing the Eleventh Doctor’s trademark fez.
