What does it mean to be a Star Trek fan? Does it mean you can recite Klingon with an expert’s accent? Could it be that you’re able to list off TOS or TNG episode credits without a pause? Or, perhaps according to ThinkGeek, would it mean that you’re all for buying some pretty sweet Star Trek TNG bedding?

For now, you’ll just have to ignore the set’s red coloring if you’re paranoid about becoming a redshirt. Surely, there’s no correlation.

Ranging from $50-$90, the exclusive bedding comes with duvet covers or sheets to decorate your private living quarters. Sure, you might not be on USS Enterprise, but you can still trick yourself into believing you’ve got an upcoming shift on the bridge following some well-rested sleep.

ThinkGeek has also provided a product description for the set on their site which can be read below if you’re now debating whether your bedroom is in need of redecoration. The description reads:

“Originally, we considered offering a reproduction of the bedding seen on Star Trek: The Next Generation. But most of it was shiny and looked incredibly uncomfortable and for some reason required you to include vegetation in your headboard. So we decided to go with this instead.”

“This Star Trek The Next Generation Bedding Set will let you tumble out of bed in the morning, completely relaxed and ready for that first cup of coffee or tea, Earl Grey, hot. The fitted sheet features a Delta Shield pattern, and the four solid Rank Pips printed on one side of the pillowcases declare you a Captain. The duvet cover, red, naturally, because you’re Command, has a Communicator Badge printed on it. Non-functioning, which is good because bed-dialing someone would be even more embarrassing than butt-dialing them.”

Featuring iconic Star Trek images like the Delta Shield pattern and Rank Pips, this bedding is enough to make any TNG fan willing to redo their quarter’s interior design. Though the set costs a pretty credit chip, if you’re a Star Trek fan who value their s,eep, picking up this set might be a pretty sweet deal.
