The Bioshock series is one modern gaming’s most revered series, and even those who haven’t played the games for themselves are often familiar with terms like Rapture or Big Daddys. When the Bioshock universe got a sequel called Bioshock Infinite, it introduced another popular character into the gaming vocabulary, the lovely Elizabeth.
You’re side by side with Elizabeth through most of the game, and she successfully endears herself to the player by game’s end. It’s no wonder then that she’s caught on with the Cosplay world, but one rendition has become more popular than the others, and that’s the Elizabeth fans see in the Bioshock: Infinite DLC Burial at Sea. The story takes fans back to Rapture, the iconic underwater setting from the original games, but this time you play as Booker and Elizabeth right before the city falls into despair.

The game already had a noirish quality, and Elizabeth’s fashion sense is derived from that retro aesthetic as well. It’s quickly become a favorite among Cosplayers, including this wonderful rendition from Cosplayer Milena Hime.
Milena lives in Moscow and creates all of her costumes and props. The costuming here is stunning, and while it isn’t the most complex costume per say, her attention to accuracy and detail is incredibly impressive. The first few shots come courtesy of the talented Pugoeeka, who’s lighting and smoke effects are breathtaking. The background always accentuates Milena’s costume and pose, and all of these pieces are frame worthy.
If you want something that feels even more like Rapture, though, then Milena’s photoshoot with Makks Tobi is right up your alley. Milena is placed against a backdrop literally taken from Rapture and can be seen holding a custom Plasmid and an Audio Log. The viewer is instantly transported to Rapture once again, and the care and detail that went into both of these sets is immense.
