First Look At Boruto: Naruto The Movie One-Shot Manga

A preview for Masahi Kishimoto’s one-shot manga, being given away at screenings of Boruto: Naruto the Movie in Japan, has been released online.

The story is titled “The Day Naruto Became a Hokage.” The Official Movie Book will also contain a fully colorized version of the final chapter of the original Naruto manga.

In Boruto: Naruto the Movie, Boruto is the son of the 7th Hokage Naruto who completely rejects his father. Behind this, he has feelings of wanting to surpass Naruto, who is respected as a hero. He ends up meeting his father’s friend Sasuke, and requests to become… his apprentice!?

The film debuts in Japan on Aug. 7, and will premiere in the United States at New York Comic-Con.
