Entertainment Weekly today revealed the cover to their latest issue, featuring the first image of Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander, the lead in the Harry Potter prequel film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

Scamander is a world-famous magizoologist who adventures to New York in 1926 while working on his titular textbook, which will be used by Harry, Hermione, and Ron during their time at Hogwarts decades later.
As described be EW, Scamander is seen on the cover holding his “pivotal briefcase,” standing inside the Magical Congress of the United States of America. The MACUSA is the American equivalent of Britain’s Ministry of Magic.
