The folks at How It Should Have Ended have joined forces with die-hard fangirl Leigh Lahav/OnlyLeigh to produce “Five Stages of Watching a Marvel Movie.”
Videos by ComicBook.com
The first stage of watching a Marvel movie is fangirling (or fanboying), which is becoming so overwhelmed with excitement that they have a hard time containing their emotions. The second stage is the sense of anticipation that sets in just before the film begins. When the film commences the third stage pokes its head out and someone begins to nitpick the changes the film adaptation has made from the source material. The fourth stage is amnesia and it is all about forgetting the issues the Marvel film had and declaring it the best film ever. The fifth and final stage is pretty great, but you have to stay until the post-credits to see it.
