Not all heroes get along, such was the case at a comic con in the UK this weekend. Lou Ferrigno, the original Incredible Hulk, and Sam J. Jones, Flash Gordon, almost got into a fist fight at their booths, before a fan stepped in to stop them.

According to The Sun, the two actors were engaging in some heated conversation at the convention, where their booths were located right beside one another. There was plenty of finger-pointing and raised voices, but things soon got more aggressive.

The actors stood up and puffed their chests, ready to engage in a physical altercation. However, a fan named Darryn Clements stepped in to calm them both down.

This must have been quite a site, as both Jones and Ferrigno are massive men. Ferrigno stands at 6’5″, while Jones stands at 6’3″. Clements on the other hand, he is only 5’7″. Still the fan succeeded in breaking the fight up.

Clements was dressed as Diablo from Suicide Squad, and he stepped right in between the two behemoths. He claimed that Jones kept telling Ferrigno to go home, and the latter would respond with “You’re winding me up!” The fan went on to describe his role in the altercation.

“There was a large crowd around, so I told them to act like adults and grow up as they were supposed to be there for their fans.

“I don’t know if I was the real superhero because if there was a clash of the Titans I would have got squashed.”

After de-escalating the situation, and getting both men back to their booths, it was Darryn Clements who walked out of that convention center the hero.
