Beside being the all-time leading rusher in Green Bay Packers’ history, Ahman Green is a rabid Batman fan with a “vast collection of Batman memorabilia and a Batman tattoo.” The former NFL running back recently appeared on the “Just Not Sports” podcast and discussed his passion for The Dark Knight and revealed that he has a role in Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

“Yeah, I’m in there,” Green told the show’s host (27-minute mark). “I think I’m more than an extra. I got a lot of camera time. My character name is ‘Thug #2.’”

He then shared how the “dream come true” opportunity came about from a friendship he developed with director Zack Snyder — who was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin and grew up a Green Bay Packers fan — when he visited the Man of Steel set in Vancouver.

In Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice opens March 25, 2016.
