Halle Berry will star as Ororo Munroe, the X-Man known as Storm, in the forthcoming sequel X-Men: Days of Future Past, reports Black Tree TV (embedded below).”The fans really love Storm, and so I’m really happy that it’s worked out that way,” Berry said during an interview in promotion of her forthcoming film The Call. “No matter what my part will be or won’t be, to be a part of that is always a good thing. I love it.”Last week, Berry was rumored to be in line for the role after both she and Bryan Singer said that they hoped to make it happen. While most of the casting information for X-Men: Days of Future Past has been revealed by Singer via Twitter, Berry isn’t the first person to confirm her involvement before the director got a chance; Patrick Stewart did that, way back before Singer was formally attached as director.
