For How To Train Your Dragon Superfan Kiani, there are few things cooler than getting to see where her favorite dragon, Toothless, was created, which of course took place at Dreamworks Animation Studios.
For Super-Fan Builds, though, that isn’t nearly enough, so the show sought out to design and create a one of a kind item just for her (via Geeksaresexy). After talking with Kiani and her mother Gloria about her love for the adorable little dragon, as well as his current animated series Dragons: Race to the Edge, designer and master builder Fon Davis had an idea.

Fon and his team decided to create a place for the entire family to watch their favorite show and set out to build for them their very own Toothless couch. The 8 foot by 3-foot couch also comes with an attached comforter, which is shaped like Toothless’ wing. The custom couch also includes hand painted eyes, and each one comes with a LED behind it to give it a bright green glow.
That same level of detail can be seen in each of his claws as well, which were all individually molded, and they used vinyl stencils to add some texture to the top of his head. The team based Toothless off of numerous production stills from the show and went through a great deal of effort to recreate the dragon perfectly, something that Kiani enthusiastically praised when the team finally revealed their project to her and her family.
