A new trailer for Kingsman: The Secret Service is set to run during today’s match between the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots, providing another look at the Matthew Vaughn-directed film.
With a premiere date less than two weeks away, there aren’t many secrets left for Kingsman. As most know, the film is an adaptation of the comic book series The Secret Service, which was written by Mark Millar and illustrated by Dave Gibbons. In the series, a clandestine group of secret agents—not unlike James Bond’s MI6 organization—must thwart an international terrorist’s plot to ahnilliate all existence. The film also explores a more personal plot between one of the organization’s senior members, Jack, and his young nephew, Gary. As Jack grows older, he recruits the brash Gary into the organization in hopes that he will lead the next generation of super spies.

Film looks like it will be a fairly close adaption of the 2012-2013 comic series. Colin Firth plays the Jack character, now called Harry, Taron Egerton plays Gary, and Samuel L. Jackson plays Valentine, the sociopathic terrorist. Kingsman: The Secret Service will be the second collaboration between Vaughn and Millar. The two first teamed up for the film adaptation of Millar’s other creator owned comic series, Kick Ass. Vaughn then moved onto to tackle the critically lauded X-Men reboot, X-Men: First Class.
