Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Traveller’s Tales have announced “The Squad” DLC pack, coming to LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham in early 2015.
The new content is based on the DC Comics characters from Suicide Squad, and the announcement is nicely timed to follow the big cast reveal for the 2016 Suicide Squad movie. The “Suicide” part of the team’s name was likely left off because it’s not particularly appropriate for a game with an ESRB rating of “E for Everyone.” The DLC pack includes a new group of playable LEGO DC Comics characters, vehicles, achievements, and story content.

In “The Squad” add-on content pack, a mysterious figure has infiltrated Belle Reve Penitentiary, and it’s up to players to smash their way through the prison as Deadshot, Deathstroke, Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang and other members of The Squad to hunt down this infiltrator before Amanda Waller’s—and The Squad’s—secrets are uncovered.
“The Squad” DLC Pack is part of the LEGO Batman 3 season pass, but may also also be purchased separately. You can see screenshots of the individual squad members in the gallery below.
