Wolfe will play “a girl who is experiencing a haunting and desperate for help.” Her onscreen mother will be played by Frances O’Connor (Bedazzled, AI).

Wolfe played Woody Harrelson’s daughter in the first season of HBO’s True Detective and recently landed the lead role in the comic book adaptation of I Kill Giants, which will also feature Zoe Saldana.

A couple days ago, director James Wan (Furious 7), who directed the 2013 film, announced that filming had commenced on the sequel. It’ll tell another spooky tale involving world renowned paranormal investigators Ed (Patrick Wilson) and Lorraine Warren (Vera Farmiga). This time the Warrens will take on … The Enfield Poltergeist! Wan wrote the script with Chad and Carey Hayes, and David Leslie Johnson gave it a polish.

The Conjuring: The Enfield Poltergeist will land in theaters June 10, 2016.
