Mad Max: Fury Road has released a new poster a week ahead of its theatrical
release.

Featuring Tom Hardy’s Max and Charlize Theron’s Imperator Furiosa, the poster splits the explosive action up top with a dusty white credits below. The poster’s composition certainly evokes the movie posters of eighties, creating a thematic homage to Mad Max’s roots in the decade.
But as you’ll see below, it’s just one hardcore one-sheet.
Mad Max: Fury Road finds director George Miller’s hero Max teaming with newcomer Imperator Furiosa as they try to escape the savage wastelands ruled by ruthless warlords. It hits theater on May 15.
