With Mark Ruffalo earning rave reviews for his performance in The Avengers from those who have seen early screenings, many are starting to wonder if another Hulk movie could be around the corner. In fact, Ruffalo himself even said that he would be interested in doing a Hulk solo movie. However, it looks like a new Hulk movie won’t be coming anytime soon. The Huffington Post put the question of the possibility of another Hulk movie to Marvel Studios President of Production Kevin Feige. Feige is quoted as saying, “Well, no. This was the other shot. Right? I mean, this was the third appearance of Hulk and everything that we had and were going for, we put in to Hulk’s appearance in Avengers. So, I love that people are saying that and are feeling that way about Hulk, but mission accomplished at this point. And the way we go forward, we’ll see. But it was a long road to get to this point. Although, I will say, after the screening, I heard various arguments over who was their favorite. Which is my favorite thing: Arguing what was the favorite moment or character. And the fact that so many of them are saying Hulk feels very, very good. Where we go next, we’ll see. But we’ll be very careful about it and deliberate — as we were in how we wanted to bring him back in Avengers.”While Feige’s answer pretty much kills any hope that the unannounced second movie from Marvel in 2014 will be the Hulk, he does leave the door open with his “We’ll see.” If larger audiences are as enthusiastic about the Hulk in The Avengers as early screeners have been, then I doubt it will take long for Marvel Studios to realize that another solo outing with the big green guy could spell big green money for them.In the meantime, it looks like a Hulk appearance in Iron Man 3 might not be out of the question. From the interviews that Robert Downey Jr. and Mark Ruffalo have given together on The Avengers, it’s obvious that the two get along really well.In a MTV News interview, Mark Ruffalo along with fellow Avenger Scarlett Johansson talked about the possibility of Ruffalo appearing in Iron Man 3. Ruffalo said that he wasn’t currently slated to be in Iron Man 3, but Johannson brought up the possibility of trying to get him in the movie. Ruffalo said, “I’m sure that there’s a way for me to find my way into that.” Ruffalo asked Johansson to talk to Kevin (Feige) on his behalf.

Of course, the two were joking, but it almost came across as if they had an inside joke going. Considering that Robert Downey Jr. and Mark Ruffalo are the only two Avengers that have openly claimed they took part in shooting a bonus scene, could the bonus scene have been a set up for Iron Man 3?
