Phoenix Coming To Marvel Puzzle Quest

D3 Go! is bringing one of the most powerful entities in the Marvel Universe to Marvel Puzzle Quest.The Phoenix, as embodied by Jean Grey, will be introduced as a new 5-star character. Players will be able to tap into the power of the Phoenix when her Legendary pack is release on November 12.

“From a ‘Why Phoenix?’ point of view, she’s one of our most fan requested characters, so she’s a natural to bring to Marvel Puzzle Quest,” D3 Go! Producer Joe Fletcher tells Marvel.com. “The older Jean Grey—as opposed to teen Jean, already in as a 4*—is also the holder of the massively powerful Phoenix Force, making her a shoo-in as our third 5-Star character. Very few other beings in Marvel can stand up to the overwhelming power that a Phoenix-powered Jean brings to the table.”

D3 Go! also announced the introduction of Command Points, a new currency that can be earned by completing tasks and that allows players to see their progression towards 4-star and 5-star characters.
