Power Rangers has seen a rejuvenation of popularity due the recent fan film as well as the upcoming motion picture, but that doesn’t mean it has lacked a devoted community of fans in the meantime. One of those fans, Stuart Green, has launched a petition to celebrate the show’s 25th anniversary with a special reunion show, and it already has 612 supporters (out of the requested 1,000).

Stuart’s pitch for the reunion includes uniting the casts of the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, along with the casts of Zeo and Turbo. Along with getting to see their favorite rangers again, the petition also requests (and quite politely I might add) that some behind the scenes creatives are involved in the reunion. They would love Judd Lynn, a previous series writer, to write the movie, as well as Ron Wasserman taking control of the soundtrack. They definitely know their Power Rangers History.

Additionally a request for a follow-up on the relationship between fan favorites Kimberly (Amy Jo Johnson) and Tommy (Jason David Frank) is included. Evidently in a possible future Tommy did not end up with Kimberly, but if a reunion happened, maybe the writers would change up some things due to fan demand.

While there are a great deal of requests, it isn’t in a demanding tone. Quite the opposite in fact, so who knows, maybe we’ll actually get to see it happen.
