Scott Glenn (“The Right Stuff”) is out and about doing press right now and in this latest interview the veteran actor discusses the stunts in Netflix’s Daredevil and the challenges of playing Stick, a blind martial arts master.

“It was brand new for me because I never played blind before,” Glenn told IGN regarding his role as Stick in Daredevil. “So, the first thing I had to figure out was, how do I do this.”

Playing blind may be a new challenge for Glenn, but the martial arts part of the role was a walk in the park. Glenn has dabbled in Filipino martial arts and Brazilian jiu jitsu since he was a young boy.

Glenn boasts about the amount of stunts the show has. “Daredevil is probably the most stunt heavy TV series ever shot,” Glenn said. “And my character is kind of on the high-volume side of that. For me, almost everyday – challenge is to weak of a word – the demands of the part were to integrate blindness and be a marital arts master with the emotional life that’s going on at the same time. That was a lot of fun. I loved it!”

It’s time to let the devil out. Marvel’s Daredevil is here to clean up the streets of Hell’s Kitchen, New York. Lawyer by day, street-level hero by night, Matt Murdock is on a mission to make his city a better place against an underground terror within the city.

Daredevil debuts on Netflix, April 10th.
