Sly Cooper Movie Teaser Trailer Released

The first teaser trailer for the upcoming Sly Cooper film has been released online. The trailer has Sly, Bentley, and Murray racing against the clock in a matter of life and death…sort of.Sly Cooper is a video game franchise originally created by Sucker Punch Entertainment. The series of stealth games takes place in a world inhabited by anthropomorphic animals and has a style that is a cross of crime noir and comic books. Sly is the latest in a long line of master thieves and he continues thieving despite the massive amount of wealth his family has already accumulated.The computer-generated animated film is an adaptation of Sly’s first video game, Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus, in which the “Thievius Raccoonus,” a book containing all of Sly’s family’s thieving secrets, is stolen by a rival gang known as the Fiendish Five. Sly has to retrieve the book while avoiding capture by a determined Interpol Inspector named Carmelita Fox.The film is being made in a partnership between Studio Blockade Entertainment and Rainmaker Entertainment and is written and directed by Kevin Munroe (TMNT, Dylan Dog: Dead of Night).
