Coates will play the Los Angeles supercop that gets killed over and over again in the line of duty, and is of course resurrected each time and sent right back into danger. The film will be directed by Slipknot co-founder M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan, who is making his feature directorial debut. The graphic novel was created by Joe Casey.
Mark Neveldine (“Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance”) and Skip Williamson are producing. Production on Officer Downe will begin in March.
