One of the teased additions to Kotobukiya’s successful Bishoujo statue line at Toyfair was Gwen Stacy, otherwise known as Spider-Gwen, and now we have an official look at the sculpt.

For Spider-Gwen, Kotobukiya eschewed some of the flirtatiousness that informs most of the line, and instead just went for a fun and dynamic web swinging pose. One of the biggest draws to the character is the slickness of her costume, and Koto looks to have brought that same flare into 3D application.

Of course, if you don’t like the hooded look, you can swap it out for an unmasked version. My only nitpick is I’m a bit unsure of how that one pin sticking out of her foot will hold over time. She is heavily leaning backwards already, and over time that could bend or completely break if not sturdy enough.

Either way, the rest of the 8 & 3/4ths inches statue looks great, and you can pre-order her now. She should hit shelves sometime in September
