Terrence Evans, an actor who appeared in numerous TV shows and movies, passed away on Friday, August 7 at the age of 81, according to a report in Variety.

While Evans played a variety of characters during his long acting career, he is perhaps best remembered for his roles in popular horror and sci-fi franchises. Evans played roles in both Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager. He also played a tanker truck driver in a memorable scene in Terminator 2.
In Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003 remake) and in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, Evans played the role of Leatherface’s uncle Old Monty.
In addition to his movie roles, Evans appeared on numerous well-known TV series, including an episode of the eighties Incredible Hulk TV series.
Evans is survived by his wife, two children, two stepchildren and one grandson.
