Image Comics and Shadowline have announced that Sunstone and Death Vigil artist Stepan Sejic will draw issues #9-11 of the popular fantasy series Rat Queens.
Rat Queens Special: Brega #1, drawn by guest artist Tess Fowler, will be released on January 14. Rat Queens #9, Sejic’s first issue, will release on February 25. The series, written by creator Kurtis J. Wiebe, will continue as a monthly series, with issue #12 in May.

“Having admired Stjepan’s work at Top Cow for some time now I’m extremely excited about his coming on board to Rat Queens,” said Jim Valentino, Vice President of Image Comics. “He will usher in an exciting new era for one of our most popular titles.”

Rat Queens Special: Brega #1 hits shelves on 1/14 and can be ordered with Diamond Code NOV140673. Rat Queens #9, with new series artist Stjepan Sejic, will hit shelves on 2/25 and can be pre-ordered with Diamond Code JUL140569.
