“Jack Huston is unfortunately unavailable to continue with us on The Crow,” director Corin Hardy said in a statement (via Variety). “The Crow is an amazing project, and I am grateful that we have the time and patience to get it right. We look forward to unveiling our new lead and starting to film over the next several weeks.”
The Crow is currently in pre-production. Relativity Studios is producing, and is currently in negotiations with Forest Whitaker for a role in the movie. Luke Evans was previously signed on to play the role that was Brandon Lee’s in the original The Crow movie, but Evans dropped out in January. Huston replaced Evans, but now it seems the hunt for a new Eric Draven is on again.
