The duo who operate under the joint pseudonym Akira Himekawa will write and draw the new manga. Himekawa has previously adapted The Legend of Zelda games Ocarina of Time, Majora’s Mask, Oracle of Seasons, Oracle of Ages, Four Swords, The Minish Cap, and A Link to the Past, and most recent wrote and drew a prequel to Skyward Sword.
Twilight Princess will be the first new Legend of Zelda manga published in eight years.
There’s been no mention of an English language release of the manga. Viz Media has previously translated and released abridged versions of Himekawa’s Zelda manga in North America.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, a high definition remaster of the original Gamecube/Wii game from 2006, will release for Wii U on March 4.
