The Simpsons spoof the 2016 presidential candidates in this hilarious new video.
Videos by ComicBook.com
It begins with Marge waking up from a nightmare, fueled by sound bites from real Republican and Democratic presidential debates of the hopefuls bickering and being spiteful to each other. Homer tries to calm his wife’s worries by telling her to imagine an America “where Republicans, Democrats, and Donald Trump all get along.”
Marge takes his advice, dreaming of an ideal scenario in which all of the candidates come together on one debate stage and sing “How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved by You).” It’s rather pleasant, however, the power-hungry politicians ultimately show their true colors. It then takes shots at Marc Rubio’s robotic mannerisms, Hillary Clinton’s allegiance to Wall Street, Trump’s rug and Ted Cruz’s Canadian birth.
