Thor #1 Preview Shows First Comic Appearance Of Female Thor

Marvel Comics has released a preview of this week’s Thor #1, showing the first appearance of the new female Thor, via Vulture.

The issue is written by Jason Aaron with art by Russell Dauterman. The preview shows the first three pages of the issue, with the now unworthy Odinson struggling to lift Mjolnir on the moon.

Then there’s the shadowed first appearance of the new, female Thor, who lifts Mjolnir with ease. This is the penultimate page of the issue, likely making the final page a splash reveal of FemThor in all her glory.

Thor #1 goes on sale October 1.
