Thunderbirds Are Go season 2 will focus not just on the external threats to the team and the world they protect, but also the friction between the Thunderbirds themselves, specifically Kayo and her zeal to track down The Hood. Her mentality is understandable, as she seeks to prevent him from causing further chaos, and if the trailer is to be believed, it looks like she might have been right to do so.

The first trailer packs plenty of action into its near 2 minutes, and the visual style from the first season remains intact. You can watch the full season 2 trailer above. If you want to get a slightly different perspective, make sure to check out the Thunderbirds Are Go kids reaction trailer, which you can view below. If you haven’t caught up on season 1 of show, you can still stream it exclusively on Amazon Prime.

In season two, the everyday heroes at International Rescue continue to work together to perform harrowing rescue missions across the globe. The Tracy brothers and covert ops specialist Kayo pilot their state-of-the-art Thunderbird vehicles to every corner of the world and beyond to defend people in need and fend off their arch nemesis, The Hood.

Thunderbirds Are Go is executive produced by Estelle Hughes, Giles Ridge, Richard Taylor, and Andrew Smith. Rob Hoegee wrote the script, and David Scott and Theo Baynton directed. Actors Rosamund Pike and David Graham, who voiced Agent Paker in the original Thunderbirds, are also returning for season 2.

Thunderbirds Are Go is a reinvention of the decades-old Thunderbirds, and features the world’s most famous family of heroes, International Rescue. Thunderbirds Are Go catapults the five brave Tracy brothers back onto television screens, where they’ll pilot their vehicles from the depths of the oceans to the highest reaches of space, performing impossible rescues across the globe. Produced by ITV Studios and Pukeko Pictures in collaboration with world-famous Weta Workshop, the series is made using a unique mixture of CGI animation and live-action model sets.

Thunderbirds Are Go season 2 hits Amazon Prime on November 4.
