Top 5 R-Rated Comic Book Movies

With the news coming earlier today that Dredd, Pete Travis’ gritty reboot of the Judge Dredd film franchise, will come to theaters in September with an R rating, it got us to thinking about how few comic book movies actually make it to theaters with that dreaded age barrier in place. Still, there have been some really great ones that managed to get away with it. What are our favorites?
