A semi carrying a shipment from Diamond Comic Distributors was crashed into by another semi (via Bleeding Cool). The semi carrying comics had broken down on the side of the road, and the driver was asleep in the cab waiting assistance. Another semi crashed into the back of the comics semi, ripping open the side and spilling its cargo all over the highway. The driver has been taken to the hospital, and the crews are still trying to clear the road at this time.

Turns out a good chunk of that cargo was Deadpool comics, on their way to comic shelves. As you can see in the pics, there is a lot of money just laying there, and since then Diamond has sent an email to any affected retailers. Here is what they sent.
Dear Diamond Customer:
As you may be aware, a truck carrying Diamond product from the Plattsburgh Distribution Center to the Olive Branch Distribution Center was involved in a serious accident that will delay some customer shipments of product on sale February 24. The driver was unhurt.
Affected customers have been notified of the delay via a separate email.
If you have not received that email, your shipment should arrive as scheduled.
If you have additional questions regarding this advisory, please contact your Diamond Retailer Services Representative. Thank you.
Thankfully it seems the people involved were okay, and as for the stores hopefully Diamond can get their product to them quickly, as with comic stores it is most important to have the issues as soon as they come out, otherwise they lose business on those titles that week.
