Two More #WhatIsThisPlace Teasers Drop–And It Starts To Get Weird

Up until now, we’d been working under the assumption that the #WhatIsThisPlace teasers that BOOM! Studios were sending out–apparently to promote an upcoming book from the publisher by James Tynion IV and Michael Dialynas–were about a circle of fairly ordinary friends, perhaps at a high school or college based on the nature of the teasers.Those teasers (you can see the first five collected here) use phrases like “the wimp,” “the wallflower,” “the lunatic” and “the control freak” to describe a series of young characters, looking as though they’re posing for school or work ID photos.The latest pair, though, have broken somewhat significantly from the “ordinary people” motif, as you can see…
