A new video showing off some fresh Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End footage also takes a look into the past of the franchise. Naughty Dog’s magnum opus, Uncharted 4 won’t just be the culmination of what they’ve learned from the first three games of the franchise, but the culmination of what they’ve learned as a studio.

That means, as they reveal in the video, they’re also pulling from The Last of Us, a game many critics hailed as the best of last generation. That game used things like adaptive and reactive AI, and more importantly, a relationship that built between the two main characters with small, subtle moments in conversation and environmental interactions. Those won’t translate one:one in Uncharted because of the unique relationship in Last of Us, but it’s refreshing to see them learning from their own successes.

The video also provides further evidence that Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann is actually Vandal Savage (the resemblance to Legends of Tomorrow’s villain is uncanny).

Check it out above, and get ready to play Uncharted 4 on May 10, 2016 worldwide.
