Entertainment Weekly has released a new image from Victor Frankenstein, the new James McAvoy (Victor Frankenstein) and Daniel Radcliffe (Igor)-starring film. The movie sets itself apart from other Frankenstein tales in that it is told from the perspective of Igor, Frankenstein’s personal assistant.

The new show show the Victorian duo in action, following a first “behind the scenes” style photo released a few months back. In the new photo, it looks like things are getting hairy for Frankenstein and his devoted servant. Maybe the violence is stemming from a certain monster?

But as heavy on the action as Victor Frankenstein may be, it will still serve as an interpersonal exploration of Victor Frankenstein and Igor’s complex relationship.

“It’s about creation, and Victor is not only creating this monster but in a sense Igor, who in the beginning of the movie is living in abject conditions and considered less than human,” Radcliffe told Entertainment Weekly.

James McAvoy agreed, stating “Victor’s ego means that at times he thinks he’s superior to Igor. Their relationship is close, loving, abusive, manipulative, and it turns on a dime.”
