There have been many DC Comics properties adapted to film; well, many films, but most of them fall into the category of one of two characters, Batman or Superman. Now, after the success of Marvel Studios’ Marvel Cinematic Universe, Warner Bros and DC Entertainment are putting together a universe of their own.

They showed off the fruits of their labor with two 2016 films brought to Comic-Con International: San Diego 2015. Bringing the casts of Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad to the stage, as well as new trailers for both (that reference other aspects of the DC Universe no less), WB and DCE took their first real steps into their shared cinematic universe future.

In a selection of group photos, THR brought the casts (and directors) of the films together to show off the newest DCU in full. The players included:

Henry Cavill, Holly Hunter, Jeremy Irons, Jesse Eisenberg, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, and Ben Affleck plus director Zack Snyder of Batman v Superman, plus Adam Beach, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Jay Hernandez, Joel Kinnaman, Karen Fukuhara, Will Smith, Jai Courtney, Viola Davis, Margot Robbie, Cara Delevingne, and director David Ayer of Suicide Squad.
