Wizard World has announced a special variant cover to Marvel Comics’ 100th Anniversary X-Men Special #1, drawn by Jorge Molina and available exclusive at Wizard World San Antonio. The variant is the latest in the 2014 series of Wizard World exclusive Marvel variant covers.

Molina will be at the convention to sign cover, and CGC representatives will be on hand to accept books for grading.
Only 3,000 copies of the exclusive 100th Anniversary X-Men Special #1ย variant will be available and provided free at registration to all Wizard World San Antonio Comic Con VIP attendees, including any celebrity VIP packages.
“Jorge Molina is the type of artist whose work leaps off the page and grabs readers attention,” says Marvel SVP Sales & Marketingย David Gabriel. “We couldn’t be happier to bring his level of craft to the upcoming 100th Anniversary X-Men special with this exclusive cover for Wizard World San Antonio.”
Molina has worked on comics such as X-Men, Captain America, Avengers and Superman/Batman during his career. He’s also worked on design for video games, comics, clothing, and other products for companies like UDON, Image, Top Cow, DC Comics, Crystal Dynamics, and Buzz Monkey.
“Jorge has been a popular figure in Artist Alley at our shows for a while,” says John Macaluso, Wizard World CEO. “We are excited about this interpretation of the X-Men franchise and his is an excellent addition to the year-long series that continue to be a big hit with our VIP attendees across the country.”

The inaugural Wizard World San Antonio Comic Con takes place August 1-3 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.
