While 20th Century Fox was probably planning to save their big X-Force movie announcement for San Diego Comic-Con, a domain name gave it away early. Comicbook.com reported on news of a X-Force movie possibly following X-Men: Days Of Future Past yesterday, and X-Force creator Rob Liefeld confirmed it today. While there has been much speculation over which version of the X-Force team would be features, Liefeld also confirmed that Cable and Deadpool would be two of the members. While Liefeld has been careful to note that things were just in the planning stages, it appears that things have progressed enough that a writer has been hired to create the script. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jeff Wadlow has been hired to write an adaption of the X-Force for the big screen. The name should sound familiar to comic book fans, because Wadlow was also the writer for the Kick-Ass 2 movie, which is set to be released on August 16, 2013. In addition to writing X-Force, Wadlow reportedly might be directing as well.X-Men franchise producer Lauren Shuller Donner has also been signed to produce X-Force.
