The Justice League is the most powerful team in the DC Multiverse. Without the Justice League, all existence would have ended multiple times. The Justice League wins because of the power and skill of the team’s members. The Justice League’s members are the best of the best, but all of that power on the team is actually pretty dangerous. The Justice League’s heroes are the cream of the crop, but that doesn’t mean that there’s no chance of members breaking. This is one of the most dangerous outcomes imaginable, as numerous Justice League members could destroy everything in their way if they went evil.

The Justice League needs powerful heroes, but that can be dangerous if they were ever to break or be taken over. In fact, there are many Justice Leaguers who could destroy the planet if it came down to it. These ten Justice Leaguers could destroy the Earth, their powers and resources making them planet-killers.
10) Wonder Woman
Wonder Woman is one of DC’s oldest heroes, and has long been considered among the most formidable. However, as powerful as she is, she’s not enough to destroy the Earth on her own. However, as we’ve seen in stories like Flashpoint, Wonder Woman and the Amazons have the power to destroy the planet. Wonder Woman at the head of an army of Amazons, armed with their advanced technology and magic, would be enough to destroy everything in front of them, ending the world as we know it.
9) Green Lantern
The Green Lanterns are one of the greatest forces in the DC Multiverse; their power rings are considered the most powerful weapons in the universe. Hal Jordan has proven to be the most skilled Lantern in the Corps, and it wouldn’t be all that hard for him to destroy the Earth. The Green Lantern ring allows its wearer to create anything they can imagine, so that means Hal could come up with a planet-destroying weapon if he put his mind to it (and Hal is considered the best ringslinger, to this is definitely possible). On top of that, he could throw asteroids at the planet until it broke up. Hal Jordan doesn’t need the power of Parallax to destroy the Earth, just his power ring.
8) The Flash
Several of the Flashes have been members of the Justice League, most notably Barry Allen and Wally West, and they could destroy the Earth if they gave it enough thought. The Speed Force gives the Flash amazing power (although Wally West is definitely the more powerful Flash of the two), and it’s enough to destroy everything. For example, what would happen to the Earth if the Flash ran around the planet at the speed of light? Or more than the speed of light? The answer is almost certainly nothing good. The Flash could drill a hole to the center of the planet and release civilization-ending levels of lava on the world. On top of that, the Flash could use the infinite mass punch on the planet itself, which would be enough to crack the planet. The Flash can do way more than just run fast, and that power would allow him to destroy Earth.
7) Firestorm
Firestorm is a roiling cauldron of energy. He has some pretty standard superhero powers — flight, super strength, phasing, invulnerability, and energy blasts — but his true power comes from his ability to manipulate matter. Firestorm can change molecules, building compounds out of the molecules around him. Firestorm could create plasma that could destroy everything in its way, including the very earth itself, and that’s only the beginning of what Firestorm could do if he put his mind to it. On top of that, his powers are nuclear in nature, meaning that he could certainly create a big enough explosion to crack the planet or burn it to cinders.
6) Martian Manhunter
Martian Manhunter is an underrated hero; his coterie of powers makes him one of the most formidable members of the Justice League. Martian Manhunter is Superman-level strong, meaning he could definitely destroy the Earth with the tried and true “throw massive space debris at the planet” method. However, Martian Manhunter is the most powerful telepath on the planet, meaning he could shut down people’s autonomic nervous systems, killing scores of humans at a time. He could also take control of heroes with more destructive powers than him and use them to destroy everything. Martian Manhunter would make a near-unstoppable villain and would make short work of the planet.
5) Batman
Batman has no powers, but that’s never stopped him from defeating everyone in his way, including the most powerful humans. Batman is known for his ability to come up with plans for anything, and that means he’d definitely be able to destroy the planet. In fact, we have an example of a Batman destroying his Earth, as the Batman Who Laughs was able to kill every human on his planet as well as destroy every city, reducing his Earth to a dead husk. Batman has the intelligence and technology to destroy Earth, and it would honestly be extremely hard, if not impossible, to stop him.
4) Captain Atom
Captain Atom is one of those heroes who is vastly underrated when it comes to his power level. Captain Atom is composed of nuclear energy and quantum power, giving him an insane amount of power. He has been shown to be chronokinetic in the past and has molecular control powers, either of which could help him destroy the Earth. It was also recently revealed that he could absorb the powers of other heroes, meaning that he could take the powers of other heroes on this list and use them to destroy the planet. Captain Atom is superlatively powerful, and that would allow him to reduce Earth to nothing but a glowing ember in the void if he so chose.
3) Doctor Fate
Doctor Fate is one of the most powerful magic users on the planet, and this power would allow him to destroy the planet. The Helmet of Fate allows its wearer to tap into the magical power of the Lord of Order known as Nabu, as well as one of the most complete magical libraries on Earth in the Tower of Fate. The power of Doctor Fate is at a level that is insane; in the story “The Princes of Darkness”, Mordru was able to use the power of Fate to create an unending eclipse, which would freeze the planet. Fate could summon armies of demons to destroy everything. There are so many things Fate could do to destroy the world it’s not funny. Fate’s magical knowledge and power would give him numerous methods to destroy the Earth.
2) Zatanna
Zatanna is the premiere magic user of the Justice League, and has one of the most interesting magical powers in comics. Zatanna casts spells by speaking backwards, allowing her to do pretty much anything she can think. Now, there are some limits to this power, but Zatanna could, for example, unleash the nuclear arsenals of the Earth by controlling the minds of people with access to them. She could create a firestorm that would keep burning hotter as it traveled, allowing her to burn away everything on the planet. Basically, all she’d have to do is figure out a method and use it. It wouldn’t be easy for Zatanna to destroy the planet, but she could definitely do so.
1) Superman
Superman is an unfathomably powerful hero; and has multiple ways to destroy the Earth. Here’s an example — in the story “Camelot Falls”, an alternate future is shown where Superman was thrown at the planet from orbit and devastated the world, cracking the planet’s crust. Imagine if he flew at the planet at the speed of light and didn’t slow down. That’s just one of many ways that Superman could destroy Earth if he so chose. There’s even a chance that at his current power level, Superman could move the planet out of its orbit and set it on a collision course for the sun. He could push the moon at the planet, making it into a planet-destroying bomb. Superman unleashed is scary, and if he wanted to destroy the planet, it honestly wouldn’t be that hard for him.
