Despite all of this, there have been some bad moments in Superman comics. Over the many decades that the character has been around, he has been a part of some ridiculous shenanigans that have left comic book fans scratching their heads. However, some of these bad moments were so cringe that they were actually entertaining. While they can be considered terrible, they’re also moments in Superman history that fans remember fondly and still have a good time with.
5) Super Sex

Superman is one of the most powerful beings in the DC universe. He has accomplished feats that no other character is capable of and has broken the laws of physics dozens of times. This includes when he had sex with Wonder Woman. After taking a loss from Batman, Wonder Woman attempts to cheer up the Man of Steel and ends up having sex with him. The act causes massive events to happen on Earth, including earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanic eruptions. It shows what would happen if two incredibly powerful beings were to make love, and it is a great demonstration of the power that Superman possesses (and Wonder Woman).
4) The Super Mullet

Mullets can be an all-around bad idea when it comes to haircut choices. That did not stop the Man of Steel from rocking one in the 1990s. The Death of Superman storyline saw the hero die at the hands of Doomsday, and chronicled his eventual return. When he comes back to life, his hair has grown out considerably into a mullet. While the hairstyle is not the most fashionable, it did not stop Superman from making it look good. It shows that he can take something that could potentially be a bad idea and turn it into something grand.
3) A Super Stoner

Many of Superman’s fans would probably never imagine him getting stoned. He has been called a Boy Scout before, so one would assume that he would never try any sort of drug. However, there is a point in Superman/Batman (#46) where Superman comes across a unique piece of silver kryptonite that gets him high. He proceeds to eat a ton of cereal, beat all the high scores on all of the video games found in the Watchtower, and notices that someone is making brownies in North Dakota. Superman getting stoned may seem like a goofy setup, but seeing him in such a state can actually be pretty funny.
2) Mini-Supermen Out of His Hands

Superman has a number of different superpowers. He can fly, has superhuman strength, possesses X-ray vision, freeze breath, and more. However, the hero has displayed a few really weird superpowers that have not gotten much attention since he used them. This includes an early rendition of the character that could fire a mini version of himself from his hands. It was a very odd decision to give Superman such a power, though it did work out in the situation in which it was used. Even though the moment is a bit goofy, it is funny and entertaining, and helps readers see the evolution of the superhero since his inception.
1) A Super Spanking

Superman is one of the greatest figures to ever grace the pages of fiction. He is an amazing hero and comic book royalty. He stands for what is right and noble, which is why many fans would never expect him to receive a spanking from his adoptive father, John Kent. In Superboy #75, Superboy acts naughty and has to receive punishment from Mr. Kent. However, he forgets that Superboy has a body of steel and that spanking him with normal human strength will not do anything. The moment feels very goofy, but the thought of Superman having to receive a spanking for misbehaving is a funny one.
