Wolverine tries as hard as she can these days not to kill, but that’s easier said than done, especially when your past literally comes after you.

The good news is that Laura won’t face that alone, as Dakenย is along for the ride. Even they might not be enough to put it down for good, but they’ll certainly die trying.

All-New Wolverine #27 is written by Tom Taylor with art by Juan N. Cabal and a cover by Rachel And Terry Dodson. The official description is included below.

“ORPHANS OF X Part 3. When LAURA KINNEY took on the mantle of THE WOLVERINE she swore off killing. But does this make up for her past life as a child assassin? No matter how far she runs, it seems like Laura’s past will always catch up. And now it’s up to Laura and DAKEN, the son of the original Wolverine, to put that past in the ground.”

All-New Wolverine #27 is in stores this Wednesday.

Doom Patrol is the best series being published by DC Comics today and its return is the highlight of a very busy new comic book day this week.

Way and Derington are superhero alchemists in this series – fusing the old with the new, continuity with standalone stories, and pop art with dramatic storytelling. There’s nothing quite like Doom Patrol and each issue has delivered the unexpected.

Whatever comes in #9, the only thing that’s for sure is that it will certainly be an excellent read.

Doom Patrol #9 is written by Gerard Way, drawn by Nick Derington, inked by Tom Fowler, colored by Tamra Bonvillain, and lettered by Todd Klein. You can find the official descriptionย below.

“The secret of Terry None (maybe)! The return of old enemies (usually)! Casey eats S**t (again)! Strange babies (possibly)! Ungrateful cats (predictably)! Robotman punches stuff (of course)! Negative Man goes dark (potentially)! New life and anti-life (because)! All of this and none of it happens as reality begins to transform for the Doom Patrol. The stage is being set for the stage to be reset and you’re not going to want to miss the ambulance or you’ll never get to the theater on time.”

Doom Patrol #9ย hits stores this Wednesday.

Betty & Veronica: Vixens #1 is written by Jamie L Rotanteย with art by Eva Cabrera, and you can find the official description below.

“The toughest gang in Riverdale is one you’d least expect: the Vixens, led by Riverdale High’s own Betty and Veronica!”
