The Image Comics series Huck followed a gas station clerk in a seaside town in Maine who secretly used his superpowers to do a good deed each day. Though Huck’s life became more complicated when the media learned his secret, Skelton Crew’s bust captures the character at his pure best.
The bus is sculpted by Tony Cipriano from a design by Albuquerque and Skelton Crew studio head Israel Skelton. It shows Huck holding his book of good deeds and has him set atop a gas pump, as a nod to the character’s simple day job.
Take a look at the preview images in the attached gallery.
The Huck bust will be available for pre-order this winter. Be sure to check out the Skelton Crew shop for more.
Israel Skelton founded Skelton Crew in 2008 in Maine. The studio designed IDW’s San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Ghost Key for Locke & Key in 2009. In the last eight years, the studio has created officially licensed merchandise for fan-favorite comic book series including CHEW, Hellboy, BPRD, Locke & Key, Mouse Guard, Head Lopper, Revival, and more.
Huck is one of Mark Millar’s Millarworld creations. Millarworld was sold to Netflix, who will consider the intellectual properties under the banner โ including Huck, Jupiter’s Legacy, Wanted, and others โ for adaptation into film or television series.
