Batman Day is in full swing, and Zack Snyder is using the holiday to honor is favorite Gotham hero: Ben Affleck.
Over on Vero, the Justice League director posted a short message to show his Batman love today. Snyder posted a photo of Ben Affleck dressed as Batman from the set of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The simple photo was accompanied by a caption which reads, “Happy Batman day[.] Batfleck ia [sic] the best Batman ever.”

So, there you have it. Snyder has officially ruled out guys like Michael Keaton and Josh Brolin for his top spot.

In the past, the director has shown his bias for Affleck’s Batman. During an event with Variety, the director spoke about how he felt the first day he saw Affleck suit up while working on Batman v Superman.
“We put him in front of the camera, and I was just having him turn and look around a little bit, looking Batman-ish,” Snyder recalled. “When I looked at Ben he was the perfect personification of the Batman I had in my mind.”
Snyder isn’t the only DC Extended Universe talent to wish Batman a very happy holiday. Earlier today, Danny Elfman took a break from scoring Justice League to send the superhero a touching message.
“Hi, I’m Danny Elfman, composer of the original Batman score,” Elfman said in a video posted to Youtube. “I’m now working on the film Justice League and I’m very happy to be back in the DC family. To everyone out there, I wish a happy Batman Day.”
Henry Cavill also got in on the Batman love today with a social media post of his own. The Superman actor posted a picture to Instagram of his dog, Kal, that made it look like the pooch had Batman’s ears.
