Arrow EP Shares Behind The Scenes Image Of Manu Bennet’s Deathstroke

It seems the cat is out of the bag in regards to who Oliver will be teaming up with in the season 5 finale of Arrow, as executive producer Marc Guggenheim shared a picture of a Deathstroke mask on the ground, welcoming actor Manu Bennett back to the show.

While the news is making waves amongst fans, the team behind the show has been excited to share the big secret. He celebrated the news by sharing a new image of Bennett in full Deathstroke gear. He’s striking a pose with twin peace signs, seemingly pretty happy about his return tot he series.

The last time fans saw Slade Wilson he was doing time in an A.R.G.U.S. prison cell, so how he ends up back in action alongside Oliver is still unknown. Also mysterious is the reason why he would join up with Oliver at all against Prometheus, but it’s a testament to the villain’s threat level that Oliver would join forces with one of his biggest enemies.

Executive producer Wendy Mericle recently teased this pairing by saying “The alliances are going to be very surprising. You’re not going to believe who Oliver is working with to defeat Prometheus. It’s going to be really emotional. It’s going to be all about Oliver’s family, but not the family we’re thinking of right now,” she said. “It’s going to end in a giant explosion, but not where we think it’s going to end, and the emotional punch is going to be bigger than the actual physical part of the bombs going off.”
