The DC Extended Universe is growing at a fast pace, so it’s not surprising to hear some of Hollywood’s biggest stars want in on the franchise. Wonder Woman recently proved how successful one of DC Films could be, and Justice League is set to debut come November. So, if Warner Bros. wants to rush a Catwoman movie, Aubrey Plaza is willing to take on the job.

Over on Reddit, the actress did an ‘Ask Me Anything’ with fans, and it was there Plaza revealed she wants to try her hand at Selina Kyle. When the actress was asked which movies she wishes she could take part in, Plaza said, “I want to be cat woman [sic].”

Fans may know Plaza best for her comedy roles on shows like Parks and Rec, but humor isn’t the only thing the star does. As of late, Plaza has flexed her acting skills with more serious roles in Legion and The Little Hours. The former title has also given Plaza a taste of what a superhero role entails, and the actress received rave reviews for her work as Lenny Busker.

Of course, Plaza’s plea does appear to come at the perfect time. The DCEU is working on a slew of films behind-the-scenes, and one of its projects is expected to house Catwoman. Gotham City Sirens is currently in development, and the film will star more than just Harley Quinn. Reports have suggested the new DC movie will see Poison Ivy and Catwoman act as co-leads to Margot Robbie’s Suicide Squad starlet, so Plaza’s wish could come true.

For now, fans will have to wait and see just who winds up nabbing the DCEU’s role as Catwoman. The franchise has its hands full with Justice League at the moment since the film drops this November. Hopefully, the blockbuster will given Plaza the motivation she needs to go in and fight for the chance to bring Selina Kyle to the big screen.
