Dr. Demento Covered in Punk, a new album set to celebrate the decades-long career of parody master Dr. Demento, will be released next month, but an early peek at one of the album's songs has Bat-fans giddy as Adam West performs a punk cover of "The Thing."
That's right: The late, great Batman himself appears posthumously on the album in one of his final performances.
The performance is one of dozens on the "Covered in Punk" release, which also features a performance by West's Batman vs. Two-Face co-star William Shatner, as well as Demento's heir apparent Weird Al Yankovic.
You can get the album on January 12 on CD, digital download, and vinyl LP. It is available for pre-order at Amazon.
