Cassidy & Tulip Nearly Get Caught By Jesse In New Preacher Clip

AMC has released (via Indiewire) a new clip from this Sunday’s “Sundowner” episode of Preacher. It begins with Cassidy spotting Tulip in the church’s closet. An overly-confident Cassidy incorrectly believes his new lover is there because she craves seconds, but Tulip is actually there to tidy up and run errands. When Jesse shows up, calling for Tulip, it quickly dons on Cassidy that she’s Jesse’s former flame. Tulip has the Irish vampire hide behind the closet door while she makes small talk with Jesse. Tension!

The episode’s official description reads: “Jesse finally comes face to face with Deblanc and Fiore and learns about the mysterious entity that has taken over his body.”

Based on the popularcult comic book franchise of the same name, “Preacher” is a supernatural, twisted anddarkly comedic drama that follows a West Texas preacher named Jesse Custer, who isinhabited by amysteriousentitythat causes him to develop a highly unusualpower. “Preacher” was developed for television by Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg (“This Is the End,” “Superbad,””Neighbors”) and showrunner Sam Catli n (“Breaking Bad”).
