The world of Kentucky Fried Chicken and DC Comics collided back in 2015, and now fans can get the first issue of this cult classic for free!

Actually, it’s even better than that, as DC has made the first two issues of this fantastical series free for download. Take a seat as DC brings Colonel Harland Sanders into the DC Universe to fight alongside the Justice League in KFC #1 The Colonel Of Two Worlds, which is humorously brought to life by Tony Bedard and Tom Derenick.
The second issue brought more Colonels into the mix, or perhaps a more fitting term would be the Colonel Corp. After the Anti-Colonel attacks the multiverse, it is up to the Colonel Corp to put a stop to it.
In addition to both of these being re-released for free, a new video teases the upcoming Vol. 3, which sports an homage to a classic Green Lantern Green Arrow cover. Hopefully, this means the Colonel Corps will meet the Green Lantern Corps, with Fried Chicken as the Colonel’s power battery.
You can view the official description for the issues below, and the video is featured above. You can also see the first two issue’s covers in the gallery. You can download issue #1 here and issue #2 here.
When a new Colonel from Earth-3 threatens to tarnish the good name of everyone’s favorite chicken chef, it’s up to Colonel Sanders and The Flash to set things right!
While the Colonel won’t be appearing in them, DC fans are still pretty fired up about Justice League, and you can view the official description below.
In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman‘s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroesโBatman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flashโit may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
