We’ve got a closer look at Kong Kenan, China’s new number one superhero. With the onslaught of American style supervillains making their way into Shanghai, China responds by creating their own version of the Justice League, and Kong Kenan is going to play a big part in that.
New Super-Man is helmed by the talented creative team of Writer Gene Luen Yang (Superman, Avatar: The Last Airbender), Artists Viktor Bogdanovic (Deadshot, Batman: Arkham Knight) and Richard Friend (Batman: Arkham Knight, Green Lantern), and Colors by Hi-Fi (Birds of Prey, Justice League), and we’ve got a preview of Kenan’s not so kind beginnings from issue #1 in the gallery. I’ll give him credit, he might not be the most compassionate person on the planet, but he’s got confidence to spare.
China’s new Super-Man hits the ground running on July 13th, as part of DC Comic’s ongoing Rebirth initiative.
