In “Cats and Bats,” when an innocent bystander close to Batgirl‘s heart gets caught in between a feud between herself and Catwoman, what started as just another case could become direly important.
The story is a one-shot, taking place before the book’s next arc “Troubled Waters” with artist Eleonora Carlini.
The issue gives a bit of a change of pace, coming out of the recent showdown between Barbara and the son of the Penguin. It also gives fans a spot to see Catwoman up to her old tricks, whereas right now she’s mostly embroiled in a storyline where she may or may not be getting engaged to Batman.
Dan Mora provides the issue’s cover, and Joshua Middleton did a variant.
