Funko Launching Batman: The Dark Knight Returns POP Figures

Crime runs rampant in the streets, and the man who was Batman is still tortured by the memories of his parents’ murders. As civil society crumbles around him, Bruce Wayne’s long-suppressed vigilante side finally breaks free of its self-imposed shackles.

The Dark Knight returns in a blaze of fury, taking on a whole new generation of criminals and matching their level of violence. He is soon joined by this generation’s Robin — a girl named Carrie Kelley, who proves to be just as invaluable as her predecessors.

That’s the premise of Frank Miller’s seminal take on Batman – The Dark Knight Returns. Frank Miller pictures a dark and deeply cynical world in his comics. But I’m sure even the grisly Frank Miller would love these adorable new Funko brand vinyl figures.

The line up is a great group – there’s armored Batman showing a cowled Batman holding a weapon, if you want to see Bruce’s lined face there’s unmasked armored Batman. Two more caped crusaders are in the collection, a blue outfitted and black outfitted Batman. We also have a white suited knife holding Joker, and a Robin who’s actual look is yet to be seen (drawn image only available at the time this article was published.
