As we saw on this week’s penultimate episode of Gotham, Bruce Wayne is on a warpath. Honestly, it seems like he’s becoming the villain now that the Court of Owls has messed with his head.

In this exclusive clip from the season finale, Alfred tries to talk some sense into the imprisoned Bruce. Unfortunately, Master Bruce isn’t having any of it.
Bruce started to see the Shaman has a mentor, a teacher, and a friend, but Alfred ended all that when he shot the Shaman, seemingly saving his young master. Bruce didn’t exactly see it that way.
As you can see in the clip above, the young man smashes the hopes of his butler. For fans of Batman, the scene is kind of heartbreaking. It will definitely remind you of the interaction between Bruce and Alfred in The Dark Knight Rises, where Christian Bale makes Michael Caine cry.
Yeah, it’s that sad.
